During a May 16 appearance on Good Morning America, University of North Carolina head football coach Bill Belichick discussed his new memoir, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football, and acknowledged the support of his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, in his professional endeavors.

Belichick, 73, highlighted Hudson’s contributions, stating, “She’s been through the whole process and she’s been very helpful to me.” He elaborated that Hudson manages business matters unrelated to his coaching duties at UNC, allowing him to focus on football. Additionally, he credited her with providing valuable input on his book, helping to balance its technical aspects.

Insiders have griped to the press that Hudson has “taken over his life.”

When co-anchor Michael Strahan inquired about the nature of their relationship, Belichick responded, “We have a good personal relationship. I’m not talking about personal relationships, Michael, you know that.” Strahan then asked if he was happy, to which Belichick simply replied, “Yeah.”

Hudson was notably absent from the GMA interview. Her previous interruption of a CBS Sunday Morning interview, where she halted questions about their relationship, had drawn significant media attention. Belichick later stated that the CBS interview was intended to focus solely on his book, a claim CBS disputed.

Despite public scrutiny, Belichick emphasized that Hudson has no involvement with the UNC football program and that his personal life does not interfere with his coaching responsibilities.
