Dancer Jojo Siwa, who is known for her high ponytail and big sparkly bows, let her long hair down in her “wipe it down” challenge TikTok posted on Monday, the day before she turned 17.

Siwa captioned her video, “Its my birthday tomorrow” and showed off her natural side to her 22.2 million followers. The video showed Siwa spraying her mirror wearing a sparkly jacket, bow and a high ponytail. She then wipes the mirror and is seen with her hair down wearing a plain Gucci t-shirt. Within six hours, Siwa’s TikTok had 2.2 million likes and more than 13 million views before her birthday the next day.

Siwa has been ridiculed for her look, but she has previously expressed that her flamboyant style makes her feel more confident that her bow is a symbol of power for her.

The “wipe it down” challenge was inspired by hygiene practices that health officials suggested due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Siwa has since posted two other TikToks celebrating her birthday and wearing her signature sparkly bow in her hair. The first shows her dancing in a fountain with the caption, “what did i do on my last day of being 16 u ask?????……”

Siwa recently purchased a $3.43 million mansion in Tarzana, California which she showed off in a hour tour on her YouTube channel.
