Cannabis News
Stewart partnered with a Canadian marijuana company Canopy Growth (CGC) as an adviser to develop cannabis derived health products for people and animals. Canopy Growth, which is backed by a multi-billion dollar investment from Constellation Brands, announced the deal with Stewart this Thursday.
“As soon as you hear the name Martha, you know exactly who we’re talking about,” said Canopy Growth co-CEO Bruce Linton. “Martha is one of a kind and I am so excited to be able to work alongside this icon to sharpen our CBD product offerings.”
This partnership follows directly in the footsteps of Stewart’s close friend, Snoop Dog, who partnered up with Tweed, a subsidiary of CGC, to make similar health products back in 2016.
Snoop and Stewart co-host a cooking show, Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party. Undoubtedly, Snoop will be an asset for Stewart when it comes to this new venture.
