Tobias Strebel, Justin Bieber Look-A-Like, Died Due To Multiple-Drug Overdose

Tobias Strebel gained notoriety after spending $100,000 on plastic surgery to look like Justin Bieber.

Going by the name Toby Shelton, he appeared on E!‘s Botched and TLC‘s My Strange Addiction in 2014.

“I just saw him on TV and I saw him on every magazine. He looks so good, and he’s so handsome, everybody loves him,” he told uInterview last year.

On the matter of the cost, he told TLC: “Some people buy fancy cars or fancy mansions. What I do with my money is I get surgery to look more like Justin Bieber.”

On August 21, 2015 Strebel’s body was found in a Motel 6 in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, according to The Wrap.

An autopsy report by the Los Angeles County coroner indicate that Strebel’s cause of death was multiple drug intoxication. The coroner’s report indicates that the overdose was accidental.

The drugs Valium, Xanax, alcohol and the sleep aid Temazepam were in Strebel’s system when he was found.

Drugs including acetaminophen/hydrocodone were found on the desk in his room.

There were no signs of trauma and police did not suspect foul play in the death, according to the report.
