Chelsea Clinton had her burgeoning baby bump on full display as she took a walk with her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, in Manhattan Saturday afternoon.

Clinton, 34, and Mezvinsky brought along their Yorkshire terrier for the stroll that took them through Madison Square Park in the Flatiron neighborhood of New York City. The expecting parents looked as happy as ever, holding hands and chatting as they made their way through the crowd.

The baby bump was just barely visible on Clinton, who wore a large maroon coat over a blue tie-dyed top paired with dark jeans and flats. Mezvinsky looked casual and comfortable in jeans, sneakers a gray zip-up hoodie and a wool baseball cap.

Clinton, the only daughter of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, announced that she and Mezvinsky were expecting their first child last month during a Clinton Foundation Event. “Marc and I are very excited that we have our first child arriving later this year,” said Clinton, who is the vice-chairwoman of the foundation.

“I certainly feel all the better whether it’s a girl or a boy that she or he will grow up in world filled with so many strong, young female leaders,” the onetime first daughter added. “I just hope that I will be as good a mom to my child and hopefully children as my mom was to me.”
