Rihanna grabbed everyone’s attention Monday night, when she wore a barely there, figure hugging, see-through gown covered in crystals to the CFDA Awards.

No stranger to nudity, Rihanna flaunted her figure in a bare-all custom dress created by designer Adam Selman. The floor-length, sleeveless gown was made of mesh and was adorned with 216,000 Swarovski crystals. Essentially, Rihanna walked the red carpet for the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards completely naked and covered in tiny crystals that kept nothing from view. The only coverage Rihanna wore was a nude-colored thong. The crystal gown included a headscarf and elaborate elbow-length gloves.

The singer, who accepted the Fashion Icon Award at the star-studded event, walked the red carpet with a pelt scarf, but did not use it to cover herself up. Instead, she confidently took the stage, sans pasties to cover her nipples, to receive her award.

The barely-there outfit put Rihanna’s many tattoos on display, including the stars on the back of her neck and the Goddess tattoo on her upper torso.

Vogue editor Anna Wintour presented Rihanna with her CFDA Fashion Icon Award.

“I can compensate for all of my weaknesses with fashion…Fashion should never be frustrating, it should be fun,” Rihanna said in her acceptance speech.
