Wendy Williams Plugs New Podcast In Photo With Purple Chair After Health Dramas
After a stint in a wellness facility in August, Wendy Williams is gearing up to launch her new show The Wendy Experience Podcast. There was a solo shot and another with Williams and her team uploaded to the pod’s Instagram. Fans of the show recognized the iconic purple chair from her years on the air.
The publicists photographed in the shot from left to right are Shawn Zanotti, William Selby and Keesha Anderson. Zanotti runs the PR firm Exact, while Selby is a jewelry designer and PR professional who also has his own company.
Following her release from the facility, Zanotti told Entertainment Tonight that Williams “is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects.” It hasn’t yet been confirmed what these could be, but Williams has worn many hats throughout her career.
Before she even had her own TV show, Williams was all over the radio as a host and disc jockey and even penned several books both fiction and nonfiction. She has also launched and produced several unscripted series through her company Wendy Williams Productions.
Given her radio background, hosting a podcast should be a cinch for Williams. They still haven’t teased any first guests or when we can expect to hear it, but surely her fans will show up when they do.
Williams didn’t miss a single episode of her show for its first decade on air from 2008 to 2018, but it took a hiatus that year when she was first diagnosed with Graves Disease. The mounting complications with Graves and a Covid-19 breakthrough infection caused Williams to have to step back from hosting her show’s 13th season in its entirety.
Her timeslot went to Sherri Shepherd, who now has her own eponymous talk show.
