Wendy Williams, who departed her eponymous talk show last year after building health concerns, has reportedly been seeking treatment at a wellness center to deal with some of these issues.

Williams revolutionized celebrity gossip and talk programming over years as a radio and television host.

While her representative didn’t share what was being treated specifically, they clarified to Entertainment Weekly on Wednesday that Williams “entered a wellness facility seeking help to manage her overall health issues. She is taking some time to focus on her health and wellness as she prepares for a major comeback for the next level in her career with The Wendy Williams Podcast.”

It was also noted that she is being helped by “a team of some of the best doctors in the world.”

Surely some of her fans will be relieved to know she’s getting help, as Williams has been struggling on and off for years now. She infamously fainted on air back in 2017, and after a span of absences from the show she revealed that she was suffering from the immune condition Graves’ disease.

Her rep also denied when asked if Williams was being treated for addiction, which she has been open about struggling with in the past. Williams has always been publicly confident about her return to TV or any sort of show of her own when questioned by paparazzi, but it’s unclear how much she’ll need to heal before being able to do that strenuous job again.

Williams’ timeslot is now occupied by Sherri, a talk show hosted by Sherri Shepherd
