VIDEO: Mick Jagger Plays Steven Tyler On 'Saturday Night Live'
Mick Jagger, 68, hosted Saturday Night Live last weekend with musical guests Arcade Fire and Foo Fighters, and Jagger portrayed fellow rock musician Steven Tyler of Aerosmith in a skit called "So You Think You Can Dance at an Outdoor Music Festival," clearly making fun of American Idol and all its musical-reality-show-competition progeny. Jagger-as-Tyler portrayed one of the judges of the fake show — hosted by Bill Hader as Dave Matthews — along with Fred Armisen as Carlos Santana and Abby Elliott as Jewel.
"And finally, our guest judge tonight, as on loan from American Idol and those weird Burger King commercials — we're lucky to have her — Steven Tyler!" announced Hader in the beginning of the skit.
Jagger raised his hands and made peace signs to the howling audience. "Before we start I'd just like to thank all the reptiles who gave their lives for this jacket — yeah!" Jagger said as Tyler.
