Tory Lanez Charged For Shooting Megan Thee Stallion
Canadian rapper Tory Lanez was charged on Thursday for carrying a loaded and concealed weapon in his car and using it to shoot rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Lanez, legally known as Daystar Peterson, previously made an album about how he was framed and didn’t shoot Megan.
On July 12, Lanez was riding around Hollywood Hills in an SUV when he got into an argument with Megan. When she got out of the car, he allegedly shot at her feet several times and wounded her.
A month later, Megan talked about the incident on an Instagram live, accusing Lanez and even posting a picture of the wound on her foot, which she later deleted.
Since then, fans have been picking sides between Megan and Lanez – most people seem to publicly side with Megan, especially following Lanez’s charges, but some celebrities and fans continue to give credibility to the claims Lanez made through his album.

Lanez’s arraignment is scheduled for October 13, and if convicted, he faces up to 22 years and 8 months in state prison.
