Sara Lee, a former wrestler who won the 2015 season of the WWE show Tough Enough, which won her a huge cash prize and a one-year contract for WWE, has died at the age of 30.

Lee was a fan favorite on her run of the show, winning the championship from a fan vote. She spent 2016 on the WWE stage performing in several events and was released from her contract at the end of that year. She was also an experienced competitive powerlifter.

Her mother Terri Lee confirmed the news on a Facebook post saying Lee “has gone to be with Jesus. We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete.”

She is survived her parents, husband Cory Weston, a professional wrestler under the ring name Wesley Blake, and three children.

Sara Ann Lee was born on June 7, 2022 in Hope Township, Michigan. She graduated from Meridian High School in 2010 and studied diagnostic medical sonography at Delta College in Michigan before being cast on Tough Enough.

Lee’s onscreen coaches on the show were former WWE superstars Lita, Billy Gunn and Booker T. She was clearly loved by the WWE, and tributes rolled in from stars like Bull James, Charlotte Flair and Nikki A.S.H.
