The Baywatch actor posted a video of himself belting out a jazzy bromance serenade for the 33rd birthday of his actor friend. Efron made the event memorable, showing off his musical chops on a piano-supported performance. “Happy Birthday @andybovine. This one is for you. #PianoSkills,” he captioned under the post.
The 29-year-old actor proved to his million of followers that he still has some of his High School Music-era skills. In the short clip, Efron improvised a hilarious version the birthday anthem. “Happy birthday, to one hell of a sexy dude,” he sang. “Oh, happy birthday to one hell of a cool dude. Oh, I said happy birthday, Adam Devine, because you’re the best, the best, the coolest of a f–king dude. Yes, funky fresh. Happy birthday, Adam, happy birthday.”
His friendship with the Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates co-star started after they played together in this last summer comedy, where Efron and Devine played uncontrollable and inseparable brothers.
On Twitter, the birthday man expressed his thank-you to his friend. “I feel like the prettiest girl in school,” he tweeted in response to the video.
