Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed a new baby boy to their family Saturday morning.

“Mother and son are doing well,” a statement on Kardashian’s personal website said.

It’s the second child for the power couple, who welcomed daughter North West to the world June 2013. There has not been an announcement on the boy’s name yet.

Kardashian had implied on Friday that the baby was coming, as evidenced by posts on Twitter and Instagram stating “Waiting” and “Ready whenever you are lol.”

During her first pregnancy, Kardashian had confessed she battled preeclampsia. The life threatening condition caused by high blood pressure and a large amount of protein in the urine forced North West to be born early. Thus far, there was no indication that Kardashian was symptomatic for this pregnancy.

Kardashian gave monthly updates on her pregnancy on her personal website, including a post titled “My Baby Boy Is Turnt,” where she detailed undergoing an external cephalic version to manually turn the baby from a breech position to a head-down position. If the procedure hadn’t worked, Kardashian would have had to undergo a C-section, and she told fans that she was still ready to do it if she or the baby were in jeopardy but she wanted to have this baby naturally.

Thankfully, it appears this was the case. And now the only thing to do for fans of the reality star is to wait for the boy to be revealed to the world, along with his name. Considering the last name wasn’t exactly the most common, it remains to be seen whether Kardashian and West choose a less geographically appropriate first name for their child, or double down and call him “East.”
