Jordana Brewster And Vin Diesel Paid Tribute To Paul Walker At The 2014 MTV Movie Awards
Jordana Brewster, one of the original stars of the Fast and the Furious franchise, appeared at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards to introduce a tribute to her co-star Paul Walker.
Walker died suddenly on Nov. 30, 2013, when he and a friend got in a tragic car accident. Walker, best known for playing Brian O’Conner in the action films, was in the middle of filming the seventh film, Fast & Furious 7, alongside original cast members Brewster, who plays his wife in the series, Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez.

“He was humble, he thought about others. Whether you knew Paul for five minutes or a close friend, he made you feel like the most important person in the world. For Paul, every day was an adventure to be tackled and he wanted to make a difference in this world. Whether he was tagging great white sharks for research or helping victims of natural disasters through his organization Reach Out Worldwide, Paul’s kindness was pure. He never asked for credit or glory. He was just a really good guy. His charm, wit, spirit and his beautiful smile will live because he will always be in our hearts and he will remain an inspiration to live life to the fullest,” Brewster said.
Following Brewster’s touching speech, a video tribute to Walker played, which featured clips from his best roles, from Fast and the Furious to Pleasantville and Varsity Blues, and thoughts from Diesel.
“’I’m always going to be here for you even when you tell me to go.’ That’s who Paul Walker was,” Diesel said in the video.

Walker will still appear in Fast & Furious 7, though he had not completed filming at the time of his death. Filmmakers will reportedly use a combination of CGI and voice-overs to create Walker’s final scenes in the film, which has resumed production. Fast & Furious 7 will be released on April 10, 2015.
Fans can see Walker star in one of his final films, Brick Mansions, opening April 25.
