Janet Jackson headed out on the town in London with her husband, Wissam Al Mana, Thursday, marking the first she’s been seen in public since postponing her Unbreakable Tour.

Jackson and Al Mana were photographed exiting London’s Lazarides Art Gallery. The singer was clad head-to-toe in black with a white scarf. Her husband was dressed to match in a wool coat, dress pants and bright white sneakers.
Back in late December, Jackson announced that she would have to postpone her tour due to health reasons.
“Hey you guys…Happy Holidays to each and every one of you! I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon,” Jackson wrote, declining to detail her medical issue. “It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring.”
“Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time,” she added.
Following the announcement, there was speculation that Jackson could have cancer.
“Doctors found a growth on Janet’s vocal cords that could be serious,” a source claiming to be close to the singer told RadarOnline. “It’s a medical condition that has to be taken care of immediately.”
“God forbid that this should be cancer of the larynx. That would abruptly end her ability to ever perform again. Singing would be impossible,” Dr. Stuart Fischer told Radar. “Surgery would be very complex, and followed by months of radiation treatment.”
After the cancer rumors started to swirl, Jackson refuted the claims. “Remember…believe it when you hear it from my lips,” she posted on Twitter. “The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering.”
Jackson will kick off the Unbreakable Tour at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham, Ala., March 30.
