Fallout 4 is officially coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC, and Bethesda released the first trailer for the game, confirming that it will take place in Boston.

Fallout 4 Trailer

On Tuesday, June 2, Bethesda teased Fallout fans with a post on Twitter and the hashtag “#PleaseStandBy,” and, after letting fans wait for 24 hours, the company released the official trailer for Fallout 4 on Wednesday.

The highly anticipated trailer reveals quite a bit about the upcoming game, which transports the post-apocalyptic war game to a new city: Boston. Many fans recognized a few of the town’s most well-known monuments, such as the Paul Revere statue, hidden in the trailer, which takes place both before and after the nuclear war events of Fallout.

Furthermore, the Fallout 4 trailer sees the return of a dog companion, which has been a constant in previous Fallout games. The trailer actually follows the dog as it walks around a now abandoned home and city, devastated by war and seemingly devoid of life. Eventually, the dog makes its way to a gas station garage, where power armor is being created. Fans are hoping this means that players will get to build their own power armor, but details of Fallout 4 remain unknown.

Fans will learn more about Fallout 4 at Bethesda’s E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) showcase on June 14.
