Ex-Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal, 52, has spoken about her 10-month “love” affair with Donald Trump that began in 2006.

“I was in love with him. He was in love with me. I know that because he told me all the time,” the actress told the Daily Mail. “He’d say, ‘You’re my baby and I love you.’ He showed me off to his friends.”

McDougal is one of the women involved in Trump’s “hush money” payments scheme.

She first met Trump at a Playboy Mansion pool party that Playboy founder Hugh Hefner held for contestants of Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice.

She recalled that Trump followed her around the party “like a puppy dog.” He later got his bodyguard, Keith Schiller, to get her number.

After a few days, she received a call from him inviting her to his bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel. They slept together, and afterward, Trump “offered her money.” She refused and became upset but eventually “got past it.” During their affair, they saw each other around five times a month.

McDougal said she now feels “ashamed” of their relationship as she was aware that he was married at the time. She claimed that she later dumped him after starting a romance with Die Hard actor Bruce Willis.

In the leadup to the 2016 election, McDougal agreed to a $150,000 payout in exchange for not going public with their affair, citing that she also did not want the story to get out.

After speaking about her relationship with Trump on Friday, she stated in a surprising reveal that she hoped Ron DeSantis would win the Republican nomination for president in 2024. Despite voting for Trump in 2016, she said she would even be willing to work on DeSantis’ campaign. The Florida governor is expected to announce his run for the White House this week.
