Ex-Patriots QB Mac Jones Laughs About Former Coach Bill Belichick, 72, Having A 23-Year-Old Girlfriend: ‘I Don’t Approve’

Cam Newton and Mac Jones joked about their ex-coach, Bill Belichick‘s, dating life while catching up on the red carpet at the ESPYs.

Newton, who hosted the red carpet event, spoke with Jones about Belichick’s 23-year-old girlfriend, cheerleader Jordon Hudson.

The 72-year-old former coach has been dating Hudson for about a year. The two were recently pictured celebrating the Fourth of July together. The couple reportedly now are living together.

“I have to ask this, former coach, his dating choice right now. What are we doing? Do we approve?” Newton asked Jones, sparking laughter between the two former Patriots players.

“I need your opinion first,” Jones replied.

“I’m like, ‘No, I don’t approve.’ I’m not even going to lie, but just to see him doing what he’s doing is like,” Newton said, displaying a look of shock on his face.

Jones and Newton were only teammates for a short time, as the Patriots re-signed Newton for the 2021 season during which he competed with Jones for the starting position. Newton was cut at the end of the season’s training camp.

Jones was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2023.

“I’m great. What I learned from you, have fun with this s– bro,” Jones told Newton at the ESPYs. “Have fun with it. I’m in Jacksonville, back home having fun.”

This year’s ESPYs were controversial, as many disagreed with ESPN’s decision to award Prince Harry with the Pat Tillman Service Award.
