Page and Thomas made a striking pair posing for pictures at the Freeheld premiere in their official debut as a couple. Asked why she opted to make her red carpet debut with Thomas Sunday night, Page said, “I’m in love,” according to E! News.

“Walking down the carpet holding my girlfriend’s hand is pretty special,” Page added. “It’s pretty awesome.”

Prior to the red carpet, Page had posted a picture on Instagram with Thomas and a few others. “Leaving for the #tiff15 @freeheldmovie premiere with these amazing people,” the actress captioned the snap.

In Freeheld, Page plays Stacie Andree, the domestic partner of New Jersey police detective Laurel Hester, played by Julianne Moore. When Laurel is diagnosed with terminal cancer, she fights – with the help of activist Steven Goldstein (Steve Carell) – for the ability to leave her pension to Stacie like her married coworkers.

Freeheld, which is based on a true story, was directed by Peter Sollett. It’s slated to hit theater Oct. 2.
