During a billionaire’s fundraiser in Palm Beach, Florida, Donald Trump implied that his opponent, President Joe Biden, had soiled himself on the Resolute Desk. This famed presidential desk sits in the Oval Office.

Trump made these comments in front of a crowd of very wealthy guests. He slammed Biden’s border policy and criticized him for making poor decisions while sitting at the Resolute Desk, which Britain’s Queen Victoria had gifted to the United States in 1880.

“The Resolute Desk is beautiful,” the former president stated during a 45-minute presentation at a dinner hosted by investor John Paulson on April 6. “Ronald Reagan used it, others used it.”

“And [Biden is] using it,” Trump said. “I might not use it the next time. It’s been soiled. And I mean that literally, which is sad.”

Trump reportedly sounded “disgusted.” Guests laughed at Trump’s comment.

During this fundraiser, Trump also declared that America is not getting immigrants from “nice countries” like “Denmark” and “Switzerland.”

He also complained that migrants had been coming to the U.S. from Yemen, a place where the people are “blowing each other up all over the place.”

The former president stated that migrants from Latin America “make the Hells Angels [Motorcycle Club] look like extremely nice people.”

On March 16, Trump told a rally near Dayton, Ohio, that if he loses to Biden, then “it’s gonna be a bloodbath.” Critics have interpreted the comments as a call for violence.

Trump has made several outrageous claims about Biden in recent days.

During an interview with the conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump accused the president of being “jacked up” on cocaine during his State of the Union speech in March and demanded that the president take a drug test before future debates.

The former president referenced the discovery made on July 2, 2023, of a powdered substance found in the White House, which had later tested positive for cocaine. The Secret Service could not determine who left it there but assumed it was a visitor.

Biden campaign spokesman Ammar Moussa said that Trump’s comments were “a bizarre outburst” and claimed that his campaign is “spiraling because their candidate’s toxic agenda continues to be a loser with voters.”

Back in September 2020, Trump also recommended during a news conference that Biden take a drug test before their debate.
