Chelsea Handler Weighs In On Brangelina Divorce, Calls Angelina Jolie ‘A F–king Lunatic’

Chelsea Handler is not mincing words with her hot-take on the biggest celebrity news of the week – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce.

Handler’s Netflix talk show Chelsea‘s preview for Wednesday night’s episode gave some insight into the host’s thoughts on Pitt and Jolie’s marriage, and the latter’s recent divorce filing. First of all, for Handler, the divorce opens up some developments in her own romantic life.

“Brad and Angelina always said they wouldn’t get married until everyone could get married. And I always said I wouldn’t get married until they got divorced, so I’m officially accepting proposals. I’m ready,” quipped Handler, who is known to be a close friend of Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.

Handler went on to discuss the rumors surrounding the cause of the split, particularly the suggestion that Jolie felt like Pitt’s consumption of alcohol and pot smoking hindered his ability to parent their six young children.

“There are rumors that part of the problem was that Brad was allegedly drinking and smoking too much weed. I wonder why he would need to self-medicate? Maybe because he could have been spending the last 12 years at Lake Como hanging out with George Clooney and Matt Damon instead of being stuck in a house with 85 kids speaking 15 different languages,” Handler said, adding, “Oh yeah, because he married a f–king lunatic, that’s why.”

In closing her segment on the A-list divorce, Handler promised to share more of her opinions on the matter on social media. “We should all respect their privacy during this very difficult time,” she said. “So this will be the last time I speak of this on TV. You can follow me on Twitter.”
