Carried Underwood was honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, September 20.

The pregnant country star was wearing a black dress and red trench coat, as she joined her husband Mike Fisher and their son Isaiah Michael, along with Simon Cowell and Brad Paisley. 

During the ceremony, the CMA Awards co-host, Paisley commemorated Underwood’s St. Louis audition in 2004. “This shy lady walks in and sings ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’ and the show turned into full color,” he said. “That was the effect Carrie had on me and the producers and we thought we may have found a great artist here.”

Cowell then went on by congratulating Underwood on her success.

Later, Underwood thanked her loved ones. “How is this my life? How does a girl from Checotah, Oklahoma, get a star on the Walk of Fame? I will tell you: belief. So many people who have believed in me,” she said.

Underwood will be hosting the CMA Awards for the elevnth time on Nov. 14, then she’ll be on maternity leave until kicking off her tour which begins on May 1, 2019.
