Billy Joel and his wife Alexis Roderick have welcomed their first child together.

Joel, 66, and Roderick, 33, announced the birth of their baby girl on Wednesday, revealing that she was born at 2:40 a.m. in New York. Their daughter, whom they’ve named Della Rose Joel, weighed in at 7 lbs., 6.5 oz.

After confirming that they were expecting a child together in April, Joel and Roderick were married in a secret wedding ceremony on July 4. They tied the knot at the “Longest Time” singer’s estate in Long Island, catching unassuming guests by surprise when the annual party featured their nuptials.

“[They] surprised guests at their annual July 4th party by exchanging views in front of their family and close friends,” Joel’s rep told Us Weekly.

Joel and Roderick were wed by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Prior to Roderick, Joel was married to Elizabeth Weber (1973-1982), supermodel Christie Brinkley (1985-1994) and to celebrity chef Katie Lee (2004-2010). Joel and Brinkley have one daughter together, Alexa Ray Joel, 29.
