Big Brother returned Thursday promising lots of drama after Devin used the Power of Veto to save Brittany and to nominate Zach for elimination, putting him up against Paolo.

Now that she’s been saved, Brittany thinks it’s a good opportunity to reveal that Pao threw the Battle of the Block competition at Devin’s request – but Pao claims she never went through with throwing it. Zach then steps up and not only demeans Pao, but also slams Devin, saying that neither Frankie nor Caleb is likely to vote for him to stay.

Following the blow up, Cody is mad that Devin betrayed the alliance by nominating a member of the Bomb Squad. Though Devin would seem like the most likely next target, both Amber and Caleb wonder if Zach is the one that really should go. Frankie, angry after Zach’s remark about his vote, isn’t too keen on him either. It doesn’t help that Zach later engaged in another fight with Pao. Looking for a replacement for Zach, Devin recruits Hayden to join the Bomb Squad.

Devin Leaves The Bomb Squad

Realizing that Zach’s hot head could get him eliminated, Derrick tries to coach him through this tense portion of the competition. Step one is asking for Caleb’s vote. Getting in the middle of the situation, Derrick gets Caleb to see that Zach’s main target is Devin and not him. When Frankie tells Devin that Zach isn’t going anywhere, Devin says goodbye to the Bomb Squad alliance.

Before the vote, both Pao and Devin offer their last words. Pao goes on and on about Devin’s terrible personalities, while Zach asserts his mission to get Devin evicted should he not be eliminated. Thankfully for Zach, he’ll have that chance, as Paolo is evicted 10-2.

Head of Household Competition

For the Head of Household competition, the 13 remaining roommates play a game of "underwater" polo. Per the rules, they have to hit the ball through an octopus-riddled course and into a numbered slot. The individuals with the two highest scores become the next Heads of Household. In the end, Nicole and Derrick are the winners.
