Elon Musk’s Dad, Errol Musk, Says His Son ‘Hasn’t Been a Good Father’
Errol Musk is once again making headlines for publicly criticizing his billionaire son, Elon Musk.
In a recent interview, Errol claimed that the Tesla and SpaceX CEO has been an absent father to his 12 children.
“No, he hasn’t been a good father,” Errol said. “The first child was too much with nannies and died in the care of a nanny. If Elon hears this, he’s going to shoot me or something.”
He was referring to Elon’s firstborn, Nevada Alexander, who died at 10 weeks old from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Errol further claimed that Elon’s other children also lacked parental attention.
“Then he had five children, each one had their own nanny. It was a weird situation. He didn’t spend enough time with them,” he said.
Errol also made unusual claims about the effects of Elon’s parenting, saying, “The result is the boys and Kimball’s two boys grew up not able to cross a street. Even the street outside, my daughters would say, ‘Dad, you won’t believe it. Elon’s kids and Kimball’s boys, they can’t cross the road. We have to hold their hands across the road when they’re like 14 years old, can’t cross the road.’”
He then made a controversial remark about gender identity, stating, “Elon’s gotta deal with it. It’s, it’s a bit worrying,” in reference to one of Elon’s children and one of Kimball’s children being transgender.
Elon Musk’s 20-year-old daughter, Vivian Wilson, has publicly distanced herself from her father. Musk has called Vivian a “communist.” She is thought to be the origin of Musk’s radicalization on issues of gender identity.
Meanwhile, Elon recently appeared in Washington, D.C., with his son X Æ A-Xii, reportedly to the dismay of his ex, musician Grimes.
Musk also shares children with Neuralink director Shivon Zilis, including twins born in 2021 and another child born last year.
