Armie Hammer has left a Florida treatment facility he entered in May for drug, alcohol and sex issues.

Hammer’s lawyer released a statement, which read: “I can confirm that Mr. Hammer has left the treatment facility and is doing great.” Hammer has been at the facility for most of this year after a flurry of sexual assault, manipulation and abuse allegations were levied against him from several women beginning in January.

A woman named Effie, who was initially part of anonymous allegations shared on social media in January, eventually came forward in March with a more detailed account of emotional and physical abuse that occurred during a four-year-long affair with the actor. Effie is being represented by a notable and controversial women’s-rights attorney, Gloria Allred.

Among other acts of violence, Effie claimed that Hammer violently raped her for over four hours on April 24, 2017, “during which he repeatedly slammed my head against a wall, bruising my face.” In response to Effie’s press conference, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that it opened an investigation into the claims a month prior.

Through his attorney, Andrew Brettler, Hammer has denied the allegations. The accusations were called an “attention-seeking and ill-advised legal bid” by the Hammer camp.

Brettler even shared a screenshot of a sexually-explicit Effie sent Hammer, citing it as a refutation of her claims.

Along with Effie’s claims, the allegations collected on social media came via an anonymous Instagram account, which released screenshots claiming to be from Hammer sent to various women he had affairs with. The message included sexual fantasies involving rape and cannibalism, which Hammer has denied.

Hammer’s career and reputation have been heavily damaged by the allegations. He was dropped by Talent Agency WME, left high profile productions such as The Offer and Billion Dollar Spy, and lost his publicist to the scandal.

You can watch Effie’s emotional account of her relationship with Hammer here in a video shared with Fox 11 Los Angeles.
