Supermodel Anne V and New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey have split after eight months of dating.

The two, who were first spotted together in May 2013 at a New York Rangers game, have reportedly decided to part ways. "[Anne and Matt] are no longer together," a source told E! News. "Anne is very much single. Close friends have joined her and she is using this as a time to refocus."

"Right now, she wants to stop putting love first," the source continued. "Her modeling career is still very much in demand and she's on the upcoming season of The Face."

Apparently the breakup between V and Harvey was mutual, and neither holds hard feelings against the other. "The split was amicable, and they remain good friends,” a source told Us Weekly. "Their relationship has been on the rocks for a few weeks and they officially decided to end it recently."

Prior to getting involved with Harvey, Anne V was in a two-year relationship with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, who is now engaged to Behati Prinsloo. Perhaps the end of both of her most recent relationships had to do with the spotlight of being in the public eye.

"Honestly, it sucks, but it is what it is," she said of the attention in an interview with Ocean Drive magazine. "People don't really realize that at the end of the day, we all want to be loved. We all want to have normal families and relationships and kids. No one wants to get divorced and have someone create stupid dramas and articles about your relationship."
