Robbery At Bengals QB Joe Burrow’s $7 Million Home Exposes His Relationship With Victoria’s Secret Model Olivia Ponton
Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, was in Texas for Monday Night Football when his home was broken into.
A transcript of a panicked 911 call made by the mother of Victoria’s Secret model Olivia Ponton, who was staying at the house, has now exposed Burrow’s dating life to public attention. Ponton’s mother can be heard saying someone was trying to break into the Anderson Township, Ohio house. It was not previously known that Burrow and Ponton were dating.
The reported robbery occurred while Burrow was in Texas, where he led the Bengals to a late 27-20 victory against the Dallas Cowboys. Ponton’s mother says in the call, “Someone is trying to break into the house right now. My daughter is in there.”
“She’s wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding, or if she should go outside,” the caller said, as reported by NBC affiliate WLWT, “she said someone was in the house.”
During the call, the dispatcher confirmed that the woman could be heard talking to a man working security at the house.
Burrow is not the only NFL player to have his home broken into recently. Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce both had their homes robbed during games. In a memo, the NFL has warned that the homes of professional athletes in multiple sports have become increasingly targeted for burglaries by different groups; an FBI investigation is currently assisting officers from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Leawood Police Department.
The bureau says the FBI’s involvement is not due to the high-profile nature of the victims but because the sudden rise of burglaries was part of a more extensive crime spree that crossed state lines.
A Leawood Police Department spokesperson said, “Leawood Police Department will not have any comment on any open investigations. We do not want to compromise any investigative leads that detectives might have developed.”
Burrows’s home, a $7.5 million house he bought in 2023, is among the recent homes that have been advised to install a security system and keep valuables out of sight should another break-in occur.
