Whoopi Goldberg Says That If Trump Is Reelected He Will ‘Round Up’ Journalists & Gay People

The View host Whoopi Goldberg believes if Donald Trump is reelected, he will seek retribution against groups that have opposed him – including journalists and gay people.

“’I’m going to take all the journalists, I’m going to take all the gay folks, and I’ll move you all around and disappear you,’” Goldberg said on the show, imitating Trump.

Goldberg’s rant came during the View’s panel discussion on how Democratic voters feel about the party and whether Biden’s support for Israel in the recent Israel-Hamas war would lead to many voters sitting out the November election.

Goldberg criticized the media for underplaying the threat to Biden from these policies. “Beware the media,” she said. “That voting bloc has lots of issues that they want to be addressed, they do, and they have every right to demand that from whoever the candidate is gonna be.” 

Trump is currently the favorite for the Republican nomination by a wide margin.  

He has been indicted in four jurisdictions on a variety of charges. The most serious ones are the four counts of election fraud in connection with the Capitol riots on January 6, 2021, including conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding and conspiracy against rights. He has pled not guilty to all charges against him.
