“Its not what was done but how, I am feeling violated – I still feel her hands between my legs, front and back ( saying to me it her job ,) WOW!! Really mixed emotions I always like to see the good things but not feeling good right now,” Ross tweeted.
TSA spokesperson Mark Howell said in an emailed statement that the incident is being investigated by the agency, and stated that the officer “correctly followed all protocol.”
“However, TSA leadership will continue to investigate the matter further. We encourage Ms. Ross to reach out to TSA so we can work with her directly to address her concerns,” the statement reads.
This isn’t the first time that Ross has felt violated by airport security. In 1999, had a run-in with security at London’s Heathrow Airport, where a female officer allegedly touched her breast during a body search.
She was detained for four hours after allegedly assaulting the officer. At the time she said, “It’s disgraceful, they wouldn’t touch a man’s penis, would they?”
