Christopher J. Dionne, who starred on the 2015 HGTV series Family Flip, has been arrested on suspicion of child molestation.

HGTV STAR CHRISTOPHER DIONNE ARRESTED

Dionne turned himself into the police in Connecticut on Monday on charges of fourth-degree sexual assault. He was arrested in connection with an active warrant that alleged that he molested a 10-year-old girl. The star denies these claims, but turned himself in to clear his name. He is being held on a $100,000 bond. A friend of Dionne’s children claimed that the star touched her in a sexual manner while she was attending a sleepover at his house.

According to documents provided to Fox News, the incident occurred late last November. The girl told police that she was asleep on the couch when she awoke to Dionne assaulting her. She says he touched her butt and chest under her clothes. In addition, she claims he said lewd comments to her and told her not to tell anyone about what happened or else he would go to jail and leave his daughter fatherless.

Dionne denies the girl’s claims but recalls a strange incident with her that night after he returned home from a bar. He says he came home and found the girl awake on the couch. He sat with her and claims that she began rubbing his stomach. He stopped her, saying it was inappropriate, but then began rubbing her back until the girl began to cry.

Dionne and his twin brother Michael Dionne flipped houses on the short-run TV program on HGTV. Since 2015, they have continued their Dionne Home business and were working on a new TV series for A&E called House Rescue. Production on the show has been suspended by the network.
