Amy Poehler And Boyfriend Nick Kroll Split After Two Years

Amy Poehler and her boyfriend of two years, The League actor Nick Kroll, have reportedly broken up.

“Unfortunately, they just couldn’t make the relationship work with their schedules,” and insider close to Poehler, 44, and Kroll, 37, told Us Weekly. “They really tried, but it just wasn’t realistic anymore. They were spending more time apart than together.”

Poehler, who once again missed out on an Emmy for playing Leslie Knope on Parks and Recreation this year, started dating Kroll not long after separating from ex-husband Will Arnett – with whom she has sons Archie, 6, and Abel, 5.

In her 2014 memoir Yes, Please, Poehler talked briefly about Kroll, revealing that the had a settling force on her.

“I have a boyfriend who knows how to settle me. He puts his hand on my chest and tells me boring stories,” she wrote. She also wrote, “On one of our first nights together, I woke up apologizing for my snoring and he pulled out two earplugs he had worn to bed so he could hear what I was saying. It was one of the most romantic gestures I have ever seen.”

Neither Poehler nor Kroll have commented on the reports of a split.
