Cassie Ventura Gives Birth Two Weeks After Testifying Against Ex Sean Combs
Cassie Ventura has given birth to her third child with husband Alex Fine, just two weeks after testifying in Sean Combs’ sex-trafficking trial.
Ventura delivered a baby boy in a hospital in New York City. She has two daughters: Frankie, born in December 2019, and Sunny, born shortly after in March 2021.
Back in February, Ventura announced to her followers that she was expecting a new baby, posting maternity shoot photos and a blue heart caption hinting at the child’s sex.
Fine shared the same pictures, calling his family the “best gift [he] could ask for.”
The couple has been together since 2018 and married in August 2019, just days after announcing their engagement and pregnancy with their first child, Frankie, who was born four months later.
Ventura was in a relationship with Combs on and off from 2007 to 2018, but in November 2023, she sued the rapper for rape and physical abuse, which set off a chain reaction of lawsuits and claims against him.
Combs is currently on trial in a Manhattan federal court on counts of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. If convicted on all counts, he could face a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Ventura testified in the trial on May 13 through May 16, sharing her experiences in the courtroom.
While Fine has not directly addressed the situation with Combs, he condemned “abusers” after the infamous hotel assault video went viral in May 2024.
“Men who hit women aren’t men,” he wrote on Instagram. “Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men.”
Fine told followers to “hold the women in your life with the utmost regard” and “check your brothers, your friends, and your family.”
