Dakota Johnson, who was tapped to take the female lead in the Fifty Shades of Grey movies last year, covered Elle magazine’s March Issue.

Dakota Johnson’s ‘Elle’ Cover Shoot

Johnson, 24, posed seductively for her Elle shoot in a variety of fashions. Her outfits ran the gamut from a white bandeau, mini-skirt and thigh-highs to a relatively demure green dress. Whatever ensemble was picked out for her, Johnson was unlikely to have an objection. She’s admittedly shame-free and game for just about anything – including all the racy sex scenes she’s filming for Fifty Shades.

“I don’t have any problem doing anything,” Johnson said, referring to the kinkier part of her role. “The secret is I have no shame.”

Although Johnson is admittedly up for the sexual nature of playing the object of Christian Grey’s affection, it’s not necessarily what drew her to the project. While absorbing E.L. James’ erotic novel – which has been dubbed “mommy porn” – Johnson was fascinated with the emotional dynamic between Ana and Christian.

“Reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways they were breaking each other down emotionally than the sex scenes,” Johnson admitted. “I think there’s a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down.”

Fifty Shades of Grey, which has Jamie Dornan starring as Christian Grey, is slated for a Feb. 13, 2015 premiere.
