Jennifer Aniston hosted a Friendsgiving dinner on the night before Thanksgiving. The dinner included her Friends co-star, Courtney Cox, as well as her ex-husband Justin Theroux, who she has remained close with since their 2018 split. Other guests included stars, Jason Bateman, Jimmy Kimmel and Will Arnett.

Sharing a group selfie from the get-together, Theroux posted to his Instagram and wrote that he was “very VERY thankful for these friends and these nights.”

One hit from the dinner seemed to be a meal prepared by Aniston that stemmed from a joke between herself and Kimmel. Earlier in 2018, while on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kimmel and Aniston discussed their annual Friendsgiving dinner. It was during this conversation that Kimmel admitted his dislike for the traditional Thanksgiving meal. “My problem with this holiday, is on Thanksgiving I cook a lot of stuff, the normal turkey, yams or sweet potatoes, the whole deal, but at your event we had all of those things,” he said. “So then I’m making the same thing everyone had the night before, again. So in essence, you turned my meal into leftovers.” He then suggested that Aniston try making something different for her Friendsgiving.

“I know you love Mexican food — ‘Graciasgiving’ could be a nice thing for us,” he joked. “If you start doing it, everyone will follow suit. Just like with your haircuts! Everyone gets the same hair.”

It seemed that Aniston took Kimmel’s advice and decided to make something different. She posted to her Instagram a photo of her putting a dish of enchiladas in the oven. Another photo was posted showing the enchiladas labeled as “Jimmy’s f****** enchiladas, with a video of Jimmy’s reaction to the Mexican food.
