“Mr. Lutfi’s actions have caused severe mental trauma at a time where Ms. Spears is recovering from stress related to her father’s health and her work,” the document states. “Mr. Lutfi’s unjustified interference in her life threaten Ms. Spears safety and well-being.”

Lutfi’s attorney was disappointed by the court’s outcome and said that the restraining order is “overly broad and violates his constitutional rights.”

Lutfi has a long history with Spears and has been involved in legal battle against her family for more than a decade.

During the height of Spears’ fame, Lutfi was a major presence in her life and claimed to be her manager during her public breakdown.

Lutfi apparently sued the Spears family in 2009, alleging that the singer had breached a contract with him, and that her father had punched him and her mother had defamed him in her memoir.
