Bob Barker has died at the age of 99.
The game show host’s publicist, Roger Neal, stated, “It is with profound sadness that we announce that the World’s Greatest MC who ever lived, Bob Barker, has left us.”
Barker’s career reached across eight decades. He was best known as the host of The Price Is Right, which regularly aired on CBS. He worked on the show for 35 years before he retired in 2007.
Barker was born in 1923, and he grew up on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota, where his mother was a teacher.
