After over eight months of agonizing limbo, Game of Thrones fans are now merely weeks away from the pivotal return of the HBO fantasy show's second season, after a shocking season one finale that left Sean Bean's character, Ned Stark, dead.

The show, based on George R.R. Martin's six-volume A Song of Ice and Fire series, has released mainly teaser trailers with vague voiceovers up until now, but the third trailer for the highly anticipated show goes into depth, packing a good deal of information into one minute, but still leaving you wanting more.

"I wish you were free to follow your heart," says Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) to her son Robb (Richard Madden). "But you have inherited your father's responsibilities. They come at a cost." Sansa (Sophie Turner), on the other hand, doesn't feel quite such familial ties, as she pledges her loyalty to King Jeoffrey, who killed her father.

Cersei (Lena Headey, pictured) leaves us at the end with a stern warning about feeling too much. "The more people you love, the weaker you are," she says, as the screen fades to black and the season two premiere date is displayed.
