USA Soccer Star Abby Wambach & Blogger Glennon Doyle Melton Announce Engagement

Retied USA soccer star Abby Wambach and “Momastery” blogger Glennon Doyle Melton have announced their engagement.

The couple went public with their relationship last November. Melton was previously married to Craig Melton for 14 years, and the pair shares three kids. “She’s unwaveringly good to Craig, to the kids, to Sister and to all my people. And oh my God, she is so good to me,” Melton wrote on Facebook when they revealed their relationship last year. “She loves me for all the things I’ve always wanted to be loved for. She’s just my favorite. My person.”

This year on Valentine’s Day, Wambach posted a photo collage of the happy couple. “I found myself when I met you @glennondoylemelton. The end. I love you,” read the caption.

On Saturday, Melton posted a photo of their hands together, both donning engagement rings. “Abby and I have decided to hold hands forever,” she wrote. “Love wins.”
