Travis Scott is being sought by police for allegedly assaulting a sound engineer and causing $12,000 in damages at a Manhattan nightclub.

NYPD’s Midtown Precinct South responded to an assault call at Club Nebula on West 41st Street in the early hours of Wednesday morning. According to a police report, a sound engineer got into a verbal dispute with the 30-year-old rapper, who then escalated it to a physical altercation by punching the engineer. He is reported to have damaged $12,000 of equipment before fleeing the scene in an unknown vehicle.

Travis had performed as a surprise guest at rapper Don Toliver‘s concert at Irving Plaza earlier the night before going to Nebula for the afterparty.

Once at Nebula, a video posted to Twitter shows the “Sicko Mode” rapper taking over the decks and pushing a DJ away, shouting “back the f–– up.”

The assault reportedly occurred after the sound engineer lowered the volume, which reportedly ticked off the rapper.

Scott’s team had claimed that the incident has been blown out of proportion and that there was no wrongdoing on their client’s side.
