On Saturday, reality show star Kim Kardashian, 42, and retired NFL player Tom Brady, 46, got into a bidding war at the inaugural REFORM Alliance Casino Event.

Hosted by Jay-Z, Michael Rubin and Meek Mill, the event took place at the Ocean Casino Resort, located in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Kardashian and Brady reportedly went head-to-head as they each tried to acquire a pricy art piece.

The two playfully exchanged blows, but ultimately, Kardashian and Tom finally agreed to give $2 million each and work it out in private.

The artwork was painted by George Condo, 65, an American artist who specializes in artificial realism, an art form that emphasizes the creation of a greater image, regardless of their representation of reality. Condo says he is inspired to mix styles of cubism, expressionism and classicism by artists such as Picasso and Arcimboldo. His fresh take on modern art has catapulted him to success.

After Kardashian and Brady’s back-and-forth, Condo said he would do another piece for whichever one of them didn’t get the painting. Kardashian agreed to let Brady take home the painting, and she’d wait for the next.

Kardashian was photographed at the event with her best friend, Lala Anthony, and was seen in a fun interaction with Travis Scott, her sister Kylie Jenner’s ex-boyfriend.

Brady had an item in the auction as well; the unwashed Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey he had worn for his 700th career touchdown.

A star-studded event, Tiffany Haddish, Gayle King, Lil Kim, Matthew McConaughey, Kevin Hart and more were in attendance. The event raised $24 million for criminal justice reform.

Rumors of a romance between Kardashian and Brady began to circulate after they were spotted together at Rubin’s White Party in the Hamptons over the Fourth of July weekend.
