Tracy Morgan, who was involved in a six-car accident on the New Jersey Turnpike June 7, is no longer in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J.

Tracy Morgan Condition Improves

Morgan’s rep revealed that the 30 Rock actor is now listed in fair condition and is beginning to seem more like himself.

“Happy to pass along that Tracy has been upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement,” the rep told Entertainment Weekly. “His personality is certainly starting to come back as well.”

Jeff Millea, Morgan’s assistant, has been upgraded to fair condition as well. There’s been no update on comedian Ardie Fuqua’s condition. Harris Staton was injured in the accident, but was released from the hospital last week. The lone fatality in the crash was comedian James “Jimmy Mack” McNair.

Since the accident 10 days ago, in which a tractor-trailer rear-ended the limo bus carrying Morgan, he has been in critical but stable condition. He has consistently show signs of progress, which made the medical team overseeing his care optimistic about his recovery.

In the accident, Morgan suffered a broken femur, broken nose and several broken ribs. He is expected to remain in the hospital for several weeks.
