Tika Sumpter Reveals She Never Saw The 'Gossip Girl' Finale

Tika Sumpter, star of Ride Along, revealed she never saw the end of Gossip Girl, even though she starred in season 4 of the teen drama, in an exclusive interview with Uinterview.

Sumpter joined the Gossip Girl cast in 2011, playing Raina Thorpe in eleven episodes of season 4. As Raina, Sumpter was romanced by both Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) and Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford), two of the show’s resident heartthrobs.

During our exclusive interview, fans wanted to know Sumpter’s thoughts on the Gossip Girl series finale, which revealed Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) as the brains behind ‘Gossip Girl.’ Gossip Girl’s identity was a surprise, to say the least, and the twist was polarizing among fans, but Sumpter said she didn’t have a strong opinion either way, because she hadn’t watched the episode!

“The end? Is it bad to say I didn’t watch the ending? Who was it?” Sumpter admitted when asked about her reaction to the finale.

After Uinterview informed her of Dan Huphrey’s secret identity, Sumpter was surprised, saying, “That is very interesting! I didn’t see it. I probably should see it.”

Sumpter added that once she left the show, she moved on from the TV drama’s storylines.

“But you know, since [Raina] was somewhere in Chicago trying to get her life together, I kinda got out of the whole thing,” Sumpter explained.

During Uinterview’s exclusive chat with the actress, Sumpter talked about her experience working with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart in Ride Along and what it was like behind the scenes.
