Theo James’ Full Nudity In ‘The White Lotus’ Season 2 Premiere Leaves Fans Asking: Was It A Prosthetic?

Theo James, one member of the brand new cast of The White Lotus season two, has left audience members raving about his nude scene in the new season premiere.

The HBO show returned for its second season in October and has already sparked speculation from viewers – mostly about James’ penis.

In the scene, Cameron, played by James, changes into a pair of swim trunks in front of Harper, played by Aubrey Plaza, while the curious housewife peeks in the mirror. 

Although James’ genitals are only in view for a moment, fans are in disbelief about what they saw, tweeting that it must be a prosthetic.

James has yet to comment on his size, but he told Entertainment Tonight that the scene was supposed to be even more revealing.

“The initial version we shot was way too much,” he said. “So, we did a more subtle version.”

This is not the first time James has been naked on screen. He was nude in the HBO series The Time Traveler’s Wife and again in the PBS series Sandition.

James joked about his recurring nudity.

“It is in my contract that I’m not allowed to do anything without being completely naked,” he said.

James said he was initially drawn to the season two script because of the characters.

“Cameron is, in many ways, a dangerous person,” James told the Hollywood Reporter. “Charming but, you know, on the edge of a sociopath.”

The White Lotus follows the residents of a dysfunctional upscale resort as they navigate interpersonal dramas and self-discoveries. The first season starred Sydney Sweeney, Jake Lacy and Connie Britton, but the second season boasts an all new cast of characters including James and Plaza.

Jennifer Coolidge, who stars as the erratic Tanya McQuoid-Hunt, is one of the few returning characters.
