Get ready Swifties — alongside the several Grammy nominations — 2020 is looking more and more exciting year for you.

On Wednesday, Netflix has officially announced a new documentary Miss Americana, which is about 29-year-old singer and songwriter, Taylor Swift, and it will premiere on Netflix in early 2020.

The documentary, which is directed by Lana Wilson, is described as “a raw and emotionally revealing look at one of the most iconic artists of our time as she learns to embrace her role not only as a songwriter and performer but as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice.”

News about the documentary revealed after Swift’s feud with Big Machine Label Group founder Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun over ownership rights to her old music, back in November. Borchetta and Braun have been barring her from performing her own songs and using them in the Netflix film.

“Netflix has created a documentary about my life for the past few years. Scott and Scooter have declined the use of my older music or performance footage for this project, even though there is no mention of either of them or Big Machine Records anywhere in the film,” Swift said.

According to the streaming service, Miss Americana, is set to debut on January 23 at the Sundance Film Festival.
