Supermodel Linda Evangelista, 58, said that she was uninterested in romantic relationships.

“I don’t want to sleep with anybody anymore,” she told London’s Sunday Times. “I don’t want to hear somebody breathing.”

She said her last date was “definitely before the CoolSculpting” procedures, which started in August 2015 and continued through February 2016.

CoolSculpting, an FDA-cleared fat-freezing procedure, has become a popular alternative to liposuction.

In September 2021, Evangelista filed a lawsuit for $50 million in damages against Zeltiq Aesthetics Inc., CoolSculpting’s parent company. She alleged that CoolSculpting’s procedures had left her “brutally disfigured” and unable to work.

Evangelista said that she had been diagnosed with paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH), a rare side effect of the CoolSculpting process that affects less than one percent of patients. PAH causes the affected fatty tissue to thicken and expand.

She made a statement on Instagram at the time, “To my followers who have wondered why I have not been working while my peers’ careers have been thriving, the reason is that I was brutally disfigured by Zeltiq’s CoolSculpting procedure which did the opposite of what it promised.”

The details and terms of the settlement reached in July 2022 between Evangelista and the involved parties are unknown.

In a recent interview, Evangelista described herself as a “germophobe” and stated that she has self-diagnosed obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

When asked about her reflection in the mirror, Evangelista replied that she avoids mirrors in general.

Evangelista has one son, Augustin James, whom she shares with French businessman François-Henri Pinault, who is the second richest man in the world.
