Pepsi has announced the lineup for the Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show.
Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar will perform during the show.
Dr. Dre took to Twitter to celebrate the announcement.
“I’m extremely excited to share the stage with my friends for the #PepsiHalftime Show,” he said. “This will introduce the next saga of my career…Bigger and Better than Ever!!!”
Eminem had a similar reaction tweeting “Dre day in February 🌴🏈? I’m there!”
The Super Bowl will be played in Los Angeles, California next February. This will be the first time the big game is hosted in Los Angeles since 1993, and the third year of the event collaborating with Pepsi.
“Artists like Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg were at the forefront of the West Coast hip hop revolution, so to be able to bring them back to L.A., where it all began alongside Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar will prove to be an epic, unforgettable celebration of the impact hip hop has today,” Todd Kaplan, VP of Pepsi’s Marketing said in a statement.
