Model Sam Asghari posted a “life update” on Instagram amid ex-wife Britney Spears‘ hotel drama. The 35-year-old showed off his ripped physique in a shirtless photo with his dog on a sunny hike. Asghari captioned the “Life update” photo with a smiling face emoji.
Asghari met Spears in 2016 on the set of her music video “Slumber Party.” The couple got engaged in September 2021 and married in June 2022. After one year of marriage, Asghari filed for divorce in August 2023 over irreconcilable differences. Their divorce was finalized on May 1.
After their separation, Asghari reportedly lives in a $10,000-per-month apartment in Los Angeles, paid for by Spears. Spears will reportedly pay Asghari a financial settlement in the low six figures.
Spears began dating Paul Richard Soliz, Spears’ former housekeeper. Soliz was fired after his criminal record was exposed. In September 2023, Soliz claimed he now “owns [his] own business.”
On Thursday, paramedics responded to an incident at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles after a fight broke out between Spears and Soliz. Spears, who suffered a twisted ankle, declined medical attention. Spears took to social media after the incident to express her feelings about the situation.
The singer claimed paramedics “showed up at [her] door illegally” and “completely harassed” her. Spears also said she was moving to Boston in the post. After paramedics came, Spears was spotted leaving the hotel alone carrying a pillow while Soliz stayed behind.
