On Saturday, Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly presented Snoop Dogg a massive cake and a crowd sing-along in celebration of the legendary rapper’s 52nd birthday.

Snoop Dogg’s surprise celebration took place at Ferrell’s Best Night of Your Life 2 Cancer for College benefit show at the Los Angeles Greek Theatre.

Earlier that night, Snoop Dogg had joined Ferrell and Reilly for a performance of “Boats ’N Hoes” from their movie Step Brothers, as well as a special rendition of Snoop Dogg’s classic 1993 hit “Gin & Juice.” “Boats ’N Hoes” was originally performed by Reilly and Ferrell’s Step Brothers characters Brennan and Dale.

In a video Snoop Dogg posted to Instagram, Reilly, 58, announces to the giant crowd, “Yesterday was a very special day: It was Mr. Snoop Dogg’s birthday. We’re about to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to the greatest rapper in the world!”

A massive three-tier cake was wheeled on stage, decorated with a blue bandana and a figurine of Snoop Dogg on a throne at the top.

Snoop Dogg used the giant sparklers as an opportunity to re-light his joint, to which Reilly responded to the crowd, “That’s what I’m talking about.”

The event featured a host of musicians and comedians, such as Maya Rudolph, Hasan Minhaj, Beck and more.

In a recent interview, Snoop Dogg revealed his secret to youth.

“You gotta treat yourself, don’t cheat yourself… like fine wine, I’m aging better with time,” he told People. “But we really only a short time here, so making the most of life and trying to be the best version of me every day, by surrounding myself with good people, positive energy and love.”

Snoop Dogg’s given name is Calvin Boozer Broads Jr. A fan of the Peanuts cartoon, he was nicknamed “Snoopy” as a child.
