Canadian singer Shawn Mendes showcased his modeling skills on the runway of Milan Men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018.

Mendes modeled Armani’s new watch line “Connected” and appeared in a video promoting it at the end of the show.

In one of the ads for the campaign, the singer even showed off his dance skills:

The “Mercy” singer also attended the official presentation of “Connected” in Milan, Italy at the Emporio Armani headquarters.

Armani executives chose Mendes, because they feel he has vast influence on the new generation of millennials, who, in turn, have been influencing the buyer’s market.
“Shawn embodies and conveys the values in which I believe: Professionalism, commitment and innovation,” a statement from Armani read.

Asked about the Armani smart watches, Mendes said that he was unused to the culture of high fashion, but added that the Armani style presented a comfortable fit and put him at ease with the brand’s new fashion accessories.
